Colours and Adjustments

Our block, yet to be started :) How exciting!

We took a trip to Studio M, Geelong in March 2011. At this time we were able to choose bricks, roof tiles, tap ware, kitchen colours, front door, carpet and many more other aspects of our new home.
These are the colours we have chosen for our bench top, tiles, carpet, gutters, garage door and front door. The kitchen will have a white Caesar Stone bench top with minimal specs in it. The cupboards are gloss white formica. The tiles are Alto Nero (charcol) porcelain 600 x 600.

Carpet and tiles with the silver kickboard and white formica gloss cupboard colours.

From top, Overhead cupboards (White), glass splash back (Charcol), bench top(White), cupboards (formica gloss White), kickboard (Silver), floor tiles (Charcol Alto Nero).

Kitchen and Landry tap (bottom left), bathroom sink (bottom right), mixer for showers (top right)

Middle square handle (all cupboard doors)

This is our front door, it will be a pivot style. 3400 x 1050 (thats a big door!) It will be charcol.

The Studio M appointment took us 15 minutes for the electrical appointment as we have a very available electrician and 3 hours to choose everything else... We knew what we wanted :)

ADJUSTMENTS
We have also moved walls in the hallway to allow for 2 linen cupboards.
We added a door in to the rear of the walk in robe, this will allow access to bedroom 2. (This will be used for an extravagant walk in robe :D)
We added doors onto the entrance of the rumpus room and a sliding door to the entry of the hallway from the kitchen.
We have opted for the alternate en suite and the side outdoor room.
We also extended the fridge space to 1m to allow for a double door fridge.
Adding a square of carpet to the middle of the family room to make room warmer.
Due to our block size we have minimal room next to the outdoor room, so we have decided to bring the outdoor room further into the house to allow for this.

Our Choice

We looked at plans from many builders, and the plans we liked best were Metricons.
We have chosen to build the Talbot 28 with some adjustments and alterations to suit us.
These are the plans:

It is a 4 bedroom house with an open plan living area.
